Iced Coffee

Prep Time

20 minutes (plus time to freeze coffee cubes)
Serves: 2 Iced Coffee


400ml coffee

400ml milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 tablespoons maple syrup or your preferred sweetener



Make 400ml of coffee using your favourite coffee like instant espresso powder, brew or French press. Pour the liquid into ice moulds and freeze – this can take 3-5 hours, or leave overnight.


Once the cubes have set and you’re ready to serve your coffee, grab a saucepan when you can mix the SMUG milk, vanilla extract, and maple syrup together. Heat the mixture until it’s just about to simmer.


Fill two glasses with the coffee ice cubes.


Pour the warm milk over the coffee ice cubes. Allow the drink to sit for a couple of minutes so that the coffee dissolves, then stir well.


Taste and adjust the sweetness according to your preference. Get ready to savour what could be the best iced coffee you’ve ever had!
